Our wooden rainforest home has a remote feel on the Waitikubuli hiking trail ( mid segment 4) yet with easy access to the main road. Enjoy the solar water heating and watching the abundant bird life. Owners live in Roseau but usually welcome guests and stay on call . Neighbours up the road (10 mins drive) can prepare meals ordered beforehand . We have a cool treetop plunge pool and a lovely hammock on the porch.
Caapi Cottage is nestled on a lush green plateau above a waterfall, which provides the renewable energy for the property. The cottage has a stone floor, local hardwood ceiling and shutters with a view of the Caribbean Sea and an extensive botanical garden in the back. There are no neighbours for one kilometer, just trees, streams, a waterfall, duck pond and fish pond. An avocado tree and mature caapi vine shade the cottage from the elements, keeping it cool both day and night.

Our place is a whole house with three bedrooms. There are lovely balconies with amazing views over Roseau , the Caribbean Sea and the Mountains. You may share the deck and pool with a guest (if any) in the downstairs self contained poolside flat. Enjoy an amazing view over the city of Roseau and the Cruise ship berth one way and the mountains the other. You’ll love our place because of the location: whilst it is a thirty minute walk downhill to Roseau city center.
Forget your worries in this spacious safe space. We are a friendly family with lots of local connections. This large air conditioned master bedroom with en suite bathroom and private balcony is ideal for those wanting to be near Roseau or the Hospital. There is space for working with good internet connectivity.

This is an ideal spot for nature lovers who want a remote rainforest feel with good internet and road access. It is great for work in Nature for weeks, months or even years! Mains water, (and reserve tanks) electricity and WIFI are pretty reliable although still vulnerable to bad weather. Outside security cameras cover just the front porch abd side entrance. The property is accessed via a flight of steps through the garden full of fruit trees. The parrots agouti and hummingbirds await......
